make a shortcut for regedit
Go to C:\WINDOWS and look for a icon called regedit click on it do not release your mouse
Drag the icon to the start button and then when the start menu opens drag it up to the position you require it to be a release then right click on it and rename it from shortcut to regedit, to just regedit. And test it to make sure in works.
