To Change the settings for performance follow the steps listed below,

First of all click on start then go to computer right click and go down to properties

A new window will open in the top left click on advance system settings
And a new window will open

In this window click on the third tab which is advanced then under performance click on SETINGS, and a new window will open.

In this window in visual effects it will need to click on the third from the top the adjust for best performance and click apply,

You will now see the taskbar change to gray and keep your computer the best performance, you can always change this back at any time by following the exact steps and clicking on that windows choose what’s best for my computer.
